TH 441 Graphics for Production Design

This course will concentrate on the graphics, software and rendering skills needed to prepare a student to work as a Designer at the professional, community, and educational levels.  Students will learn to use digital rendering technology to create photo realistic renderings of set designs, lighting scapes and other visuals that can help in the process of communications with the design team, the director, various production team members and the actors involved in a production.  Students will also learn advanced techniques in the use of VectorWorks to create better design packages, technical documents and communication tools. Students will use VectorWorks, Photoshop and other software as communication tools to enhance their design and technical skills.
