HY 312 Early Modern Europe 1610-1789

(Fulfills General Education Area IV History). (Satisfies the European requirement for a B.A. or minor in history as well as elective requirement for the minor and Non-American History for a B.S. in Social Science.) This course is a survey of European history during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries including the Scientific Revolution, the establishment of the great empires of trade, the Enlightenment, and the rise of Russia.
