HY 306 20th Century America

(Fulfills General Education Area IV History). (Satisfies the American requirement for a B.A. or minor in history as well as elective requirement for the minor and American History for a B.S. in Social Science.) This course is an examination of the political, social, cultural, and economic developments in 20th-century America. Emphasis is placed on the Progressive Movement, role of the United States in world affairs, the Interwar period, and developments after World War II, particularly the Vietnam Era and its aftermath.
