Computer Forensics Minor (for non-CS and non-ITE majors)

Students in Criminal Justice or majors/minors other than Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (ITE) must complete the following courses for a minor in Computer Forensics.

CS 317 and Sufficient score on Placement Exam: Students who have completed CIS 251 C++ Programming or the equivalent may take a placement exam. Following the policy in place for students majoring in Computer Science or Information Technology, the CS 317 requirement (zero hours awarded) may be waived provided a sufficient score is achieved on this exam.
