Applicable General University Requirements
Students earning the Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.Ed.) degree with a major in Technical Education: Early Instructor must satisfy all general University requirements and meet all financial obligations before a degree is awarded.

Natural sciences: Lab-based.

At least one history course: Students must complete a 6 hour sequence in either Literature (Area II) or History (Area IV).
Other courses in history or behavioral/social science: PSY 211 Child Growth and Development Principles recommended.

Up to 18 hours from child development, humanities/fine arts, mathematics, natural science, history/behavioral science, and social science
HED 221, HED 224, HED 230, HED 231, CE 450, CE 451, CE 452, CE 470, CE 471, CE 472, CE 483, CE 484, and CE 485: Accepted.

Up to 21 hours from documented full-time work in program technical field (Minimum 5 years work experience) (Credit given for work experience may not be used in other areas)
