CE 400 Children’s Play as Symbolic Behavior

Students seeking the Technical Education: Early Instructor option will take this course. This course will examine the role of representation in young childrens learning, study the childs developing ability to represent what they know about their worlds through play, understand the impact of experience, culture, and social interaction on the ability to represent, as well as allow students the opportunity to explore a range of forms of symbolic representations and develop ideas and strategies to stimulate childrens development.
