CS 553 Secure Software Engineering and Testing

This course is the study of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle which correlates to the Systems Development Life Cycle. An emphasis on developing secure software and the different stages of the SDLC that the SSDLC correlates to will be a main focus. The course will also cover Software Testing practices and the essential types of testing. Lastly, results of secure development and software testing will be discussed and analyzed to determine what the impact would be and the corrective actions that may need to take place before the software is made available.
