AR 701 Exhibition and Thesis Defense

In this capstone course, students produce and present their final MFA Thesis Exhibition and participate in a formal oral defense. Working in coordination with their major professor, the Gallery Director, and the Alabama Center for the Arts, students plan and execute a public exhibition and reception. The defense evaluates the student’s ability to articulate the conceptual and research framework of their work and to demonstrate professional competence in both practice and written scholarship.
