AR 700 Thesis Research and Writing

This course supports the development of the written thesis that accompanies the final course of the program and the MFA Thesis Exhibition and oral defense. Emphasis in AR 700 is placed on integrating research, theory, and practice to articulate the conceptual framework of the student’s work. Students will plan, execute, and assess their research project, demonstrating critical thinking, contextual analysis, and synthesis of findings. Project documentation and theoretical reflection are key components. Each student is assigned an MFA Thesis Advisor for individualized guidance throughout the course.
