CE 311 Language Development and Developmental Interactions

ED 301 or SE 301 can be taken concurrently. This course emphasizes the development of language (including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics), cognitive, and social development and their relationship to Language Development. Topics include theory and stages of language and cognitive development and strategies and materials used to meet the developmental needs of young children who are developing typically and those with developmental delay and disability.
