Alabama Center for the Arts Residence Hall

Athens State University is offering a new residence hall in downtown Decatur, as part of the Alabama Center for the Arts campus. This is a joint effort with Calhoun Community College, that is located within walking distance of the Alabama Center for the Arts, as well as a very short drive to the main campus of Calhoun Community College. Residence hall living is a great way to enhance your college experience, make new friends, and immerse yourself in an environment that promotes academic achievement.

The ACA Residence Hall will offer a range of options, including one bedroom, two bedroom or studio layouts. Each option offers a fully furnished living room, kitchen and bathrooms within each unit. Each unit also provides a washer and dryer laundry room, Wi-Fi internet access, and other amenities.

Semester Residence Hall Rates

$2,500 Two Bedroom Fall/Spring ($1,700 Summer) *rates based on double occupancy

$2,800 One Bedroom Fall/Spring ($1,900 Summer)

$2,500 Studio Fall/Spring ($1,700 Summer)

Applicants admitted to the residence hall after the beginning of classes will be charged a prorated rate based upon the number of days remaining in the semester.

Payment for dorm rent is due on the same schedule as tuition and fees. Refer to the payment schedule on the Semester Important Dates page at www.athens.edu.
