MA 331 Applied Probability and Statistics

This is a non-calculus based introduction to basic probability used for statistical inference, including discrete and continuous distributions; proper simple data collection methods; calculating and the use of descriptive statistics; basic statistical inference including confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, one-way ANOVA (analysis of variance), and Pearsons Chi-Squared tests for contingency tables and categorical data.
