MA 301 Precalculus Algebra

(Lab Fee) (Fulfills General Education Area III Mathematics) This course is designed for students preparing to take the calculus sequence. Topics covered include a review of the real number system and operations with algebraic expressions, solving equations and inequalities, functions and graphs, rational and polynomial functions, and applications to a wide variety of fields such as biology and business.
