ITE 451 Software Engineering

(Lab Fee) (Also listed as CS 451) The course will familiarize the student with the entire software life cycle, spanning from the time of conception of the actual requirements, through the analysis, design, and development of the software. The course will study various methodologies of software engineering; i.e., the analysis and comparison of methods which use sound engineering principles to develop software that is reliable, cost-effective, and easily maintainable. The course will emphasize the concept of a software development team where students work on real-world software development projects to solve software problems for users.
