DR 319 Technical Theatre

This course will cover the technical aspects of play production; working behind the scenes and backstage, as well as construction of sets, placement of lights, and putting together all the elements that make up the realization of a full-scale production. Students will work alongside our student workers to complete the builds for shows during the season. In addition, students will learn about the various aspects that go into putting on a production. This course is designed for students who intend to direct a play, or participate at any level, or work professionally in Technical Theatre or teach Drama.
