ASTE 425 Apprentice Teaching

Closely supervised field coursework in a cooperating middle or high school. Teacher candidates will carry out the duties of a secondary (6-12th grade) teacher. Twenty-five hours of fieldwork per week for one semester are required. Apprentice teachers are required to teach two sections of a STEM class in a public middle or high school and remain on the school campus for a minimum of six hours per day. Admittance to TEP is required.
