RE 530 Biblical Hebrew Language and Grammar

This course is an intensive study of the Hebrew language for the purpose of preparing graduate students in religion to read the Hebrew Bible in its original language. It is for students who have no prior exposure to the Hebrew. First students will master the essential rules of Hebrew grammar and syntax. By the latter part of the course students will apply what they have learned to read and translate prose sections of the Hebrew Bible.
