ITE 522 Communications and Network Security

This is a course in the study of (data) Communications and Network Security with a deep dive into the Information Security field. It covers a wide variety of security definitions and advanced concepts that encroach (and have roots) into other areas like Networks, Cryptography, and Cybersecurity (loTs). The course is sought to cover different networks designs and architectures, study a variety of computer threats and network attacks, and how to mitigate them. The course sheds light on Communications Security risks in the military and national security.
