This course presents an applied study of significant legal issues in labor and employment law that are relevant to effective compliance and policy development for today's businesses. An analysis of major issues in employment law will be presented and facilitate student critical thinking about how to read, analyze and evaluate legal statues and decisions. Students will be able to identify, understand, and explain conflicting views on legal and policy arguments and bring this learning to translation to work settings as HR leaders.
