UNV 450 Experiential Learning

This course offers an immersive learning experience, combining theoretical foundations with real-world practice. Through research projects, expeditions, or community partnerships, students will engage with the world beyond the classroom, applying their knowledge to make a tangible impact. With mentorship from faculty and collaboration with industry or community partners, students will develop essential skills in communication, leadership, teamwork, global awareness, and civic engagement. This course is designed to help students reflect on and refine these skills, preparing them to become an effective, thoughtful contributor to society. By the end, they will have a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in their field and be equipped to pursue meaningful work after graduation.
