Bachelor of Science - Cybersecurity Major

The degree in Cybersecurity provides students with a strong foundation in programming, problem analysis, problem solving, and software engineering, significantly supplemented with practical experience using hardware and software resources available in contemporary computer laboratories maintained by the Department.

Exit Exam: To meet requirements to graduate with a Bachelor's of Science in Cybersecurity students are required to take the Cybersecurity Exit Exam.

Students are required to pass the Exit Exam with a grade of 70 or higher. Students that do not pass the exam will be required to take an additional Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management of Cybersecurity Options course that the faculty will assign as a remediation course. Students will have 3 attempts to pass the Exit Exam.

At the beginning of each semester 3 exam dates will be provided for students to register to take the exam. It is the responsibility of the student to be knowledgeable in all areas being tested. Students must have completed six of the nine subject areas before being allowed to sign up for the exam.

 
A minor is not required.
