MU 306 Conducting Course

The Conducting Course will address the fundamental task of the conductor, provide specific techniques regarding conducting patterns, teach the function of each hand, and address correct usage of the baton. The course will also help the student identify conducting behaviors of successful conductors. Other areas that will be addressed include score preparation and rehearsal techniques (video-micro rehearsal).
