(Fulfills General Education Area IV Social/Behavioral Science). Introduction of the economic principles underlying the international market systems and international trade. Attention given to economic benefits and consequences of free trade, the examination of the factors affecting trade and of the trade policies relating to industrialized and developing nations. Focus will also be on the application of these principles to current international and domestic developments.
