DR 426 Renaissance Drama

(Also listed as EH 426) Through the examination of plays, students will explore the development of dramatic literature in the European Renaissance from 1589-1700. Over the course of the semester students will read plays, discuss European playwrights, and examine the historical, social, and critical contexts of the period.
